I am a Churchill Fellow and a 2015 Fulbright professional scholar in vocational education and training and have undertaken complex educational research projects in New Zealand, Canada and the United States.

I have 20 years experience in adult education in both the vocational education and higher education sectors. Over the past 15 years I have led the learning function in three large government organisations. During that time my team and I developed a range of industry leading and award winning Indigenous capability building initiatives for individuals, teams and organisations. 

I am the author of five books and more than 60 articles, monographs and conference papers. My qualifications include Masters degrees in Education and Australian Studies and post-graduate studies in organisational behaviour at Harvard University. I have also completed tertiary studies in Indigenous Knowledges at Charles Darwin University.

I am an accredited level 3 executive coach (IECL).

I have been a member of the Australian Institute of Training and Development, the Australian Human Resources Institute and the Adult Learning Australia for the past fifteen years. I am also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
